Lou Taylor used Britney’s money to sue a FreeBritney supporter

Just as we suspected, in a new court filing Samuel Ingham said that Lou Taylor used Britney’s money to sue a FreeBritney supporter. Of course, this was done without Britney’s knowledge and consent. They are now asking for the attorneys’ fees to be audited by someone who’s not related with Jamie.

In this new filing, they are also objecting Lou and TriStar the 260% raise that Jamie gave them last year, again, without Brit’s knowledge and consent.

You can read the full court doc here but here are some parts of it:

During the account period, BRITNEY paid SIDLEY AUSTIN LLP (“SI DLEY”) in excess of $350,000.00 in attorneys’ fees and costs. All of these fees and costs are identified on The Accounting as “Lutfi v. Spears”. (…)

SIDLEY also represented LOU TAYLOR, CEO of TRI STAR, personally during 2019. A copy of a “cease and desist letter” dated June 3, 2019 sent by SIDLEY on Ms. TAYLOR’s behalf is attached as Exhibit “C” and incorporated by this reference. SIDLEY billed the cost of this letter to BRITNEY on its statement dated August 9, 2019 referenced to “Sam Lutfi v. Andrew Wallet, as Co-Conservator”. The fee was paid by one of BRITNEY’s entities during the account period.

But Lou Taylor only resigned because she was getting major death threats… Sure. Funny how she used Britney’s money to sue a fan because he said Lou was using Britney’s money.

Britney wants Jamie removed as conservator immediately!

A few days ago, Jamie’s lawyers asked Ingham to clarify if Britney wanted Bessemer to serve as a sole conservator or as a co-conservator alongoside Jamie. Her answer was pretty clear: She wants Bessemer to serve as sole conservator of her estate.

And even “better”: In the same court docs, Ingham asks for the court to suspend Jamies Spears immediately stating Britney and her estate “will suffer loss and injury” if it is not granted. She doesn’t even want him in control of her estate until Besemer’s appointment as sole conservator. That says a LOT.

You can read the full documents here but here are a few key parts of it:

“BRITNEY wishes to have BESSEMER TRUST COMPANY OF CALIFORNIA, N.A. (“BESSEMER TRUST”) serve as sole conservator of her estate on the grounds set forth below.”

“The suggestion that JAMES will hold onto 11 BRITNEY’s assets even after BESSEMER TRUST is appointed gives rise 12 to a very serious concern as to the safety of BRITNEY’s estate.”

The October 28 letter is a blatant attempt by JAMES to retain full functional control of her assets, books and records in the face of BRITNEY’s objections, TRISTAR’s resignation and the appointment of BESSEMER TRUST. His simple litigation strategy is to introduce a new gatekeeper who admittedly has a major working relationship with his legal team. It is now obvious that any effort to create a viable working relationship between and among BRITNEY, BESSEMER TRUST and JAMES would be doomed to failure even without the added stress of litigating BRITNEY’s objections to the Account. Therefore, BRITNEY will be filing a petition to remove JAMES a conservator of the estate,”

“It is therefore necessary and in her best interests that this Court make the following orders pursuant to Probate Code §2654:

a. Suspending JAMES immediately upon the appointment of BESSEMER TRUST as sole conservator of BRITNEY’s estate; and

b. Directing JAMES, TRISTAR and MICHAEL KANE to deliver the entire conservatorship estate together with all books and records forthwith to BESSEMER TRUST as sole conservator of the estate.”

Breaking news: Lou Taylor RESIGNS!

Big day for the #FREEBRITNEY campaign, people! Lou Taylor has resigned as Britney’s business manager! The resignation was on October 28th and Britney wasn’t informed about it. When the ship sinks, the rats flee lol

However, Jamie continues to act like an ass. According to new court docs, Ingham not only claims that neither Jamie nor Lou informed Britney of the resignation, but also that Jamie hired someone new without giving notice about it to Britney. And even worse, Britney doesn’t know the terms of their agreement so she doens’t know how much he’s being paid…WITH HER OWN MONEY! The court docs says:

“The October 28 letter states that TRISTAR SPORTS AND ENTERTAINMENT GROUP (“TRISTAR”) has resigned as BRITNEY’S business manager without prior notice to BRITNEY. Although no effective date is mentioned, the October 28 Letter does represent that “TriStar cannot wait to effectuate this change until the process of putting Bessemer in place as co-conservator is complete …. ”

“The October 28 letter further states that JAMES has retained MICHAEL KANE of MILLER KAPLAN to serve as business manager, effective Sunday, November 1, 2020. Mr. KANE was selected by JAMES without prior notice to BRITNEY. As result, there was no opportunity either for Mr. KANE to be interviewed or for alternatives to be considered. There is no indication as to any of the terms of his engagement by JAMES, including his compensation.”

Too many things happening for a simple conspiracy theory, right? Lou Taylor, now it’s time to go to the light and see Jesus. We still hope that she is investigated for all the things she did.

Jamie Spears wants to hire more lawyers… And pay them with Britney’s money!

In a new episode of “Get a Job, Jamie”, Britney’s dad, Jamie Spears, wants to hire more lawyers to go against Britney’s wishes and what’s more, he’s asking the judge for permission TO PAY THEM WITH BRITNEY’S MONEY!

Yes, this comes from the same person who, just a few weeks ago, said that Britney’s request to hire Loeb Firm as a litigation counsel “should be denied because it would be too expensive for Britney”.

Britney Spears Ended Megyn Kelly Before Megyn Kelly Ended Herself
Seriously, somebody needs to stop him because he’s out of control. The sad thing is that this will probably be approved by the judge, which is UNBELIEVABLE and it should be illegal! It should be illegal that Britney has to pay both parties to this litigation. How’s that even possible?! Dont forget that he already spent more than $1,2M of Brit’s money on attorney’s fees in 2019.

This is not about Britney’s well being and what’s best for her anymore, Jamie clearly doesn’t want to lose control over her and her money. And that’s conservatorship abuse. This has to stop.

Here are the new court docs:

New “Blackout” outtake! (Updated with another outtake!)

Here’s a new and incredible outtake by Ellen Von Unwerth for Blackout! It was leaked by BritneySVault so if you don’t follow that account, do it now! The photo is already uploaded on XRAY, go check it out.

UPDATE: To celebrate Blackout’s anniversary, Ellen Von Unwerth shared another previously unseen outtake on her instagram account. What can we say? This shoot is one of Brit’s best shoos ever.

Conservatorship update: Judge approves Britney’s request for new counsel!

OMG Army!! Just a few minutes ago, Judge Penny approved Britney’s request to hire Loeb & Loeb LLP as an associated counsel to support Britney during the upcoming proceedings against her father. Of course, she also overruled Jamie’s objections.

In that objection, Jamie claimed that “he acknowledges that litigation is extremely expensive and has asked for a meet and confer to explore alternatives regarding the issue of co-conservator”. Again, it was DENIED!

This is huge news because Britney now has a bigger team to fight Jamie. As it was stated in previous court docs, Ingham “is a sole practittioner who does not specialize in discovery, law and motion, or trial work”, and since Jamie evidently wants to ignore all of Britney’s requests and fight in court, Ingham is going to need help.

Here’s the full court doc with the approval:

Britney supports the #FreeBritney movement in new court filing

Yes, the title is right: Britney supports the #FreeBritney movement and basically called us an “informed fan base”.

In a new legal doc filed by her lawyer, Samuel Ingham, to oppose Jamie’s motions to seal parts of  the conservatorship case she says she wants people to know what’s going on and that she wants more transparency. The doc says: “BRITNEY strongly believes it is consistent not only with her personal best interests but also with good public policy generally that the decision to appoint a new conservator of her estate be made in as open and transparent a manner as possible. The sealing motion is supposedly being brought by her father to “protect” BRITNEY’s interests, but she is adamantly opposed to it.” It also says that there’s nolegal  reason to seal the new docs because there are no medical issues or sensitive issues with her children to protect.

In another part of the filing, they also call Andrew Wallett a “semi-retired attorney who resigned suddenly after serving as her conservator for many years”.

And probably one of the most important parts of this new doc is that she expresses her support for the FreeBritney movemenent and says that it’s not a conspiracy theory nor a “joke”, as Jamie said a few weeks ago in an interview. Here’s the full text:

Far from being a conspiracy theory or a “joke” as JAMES reportedly told the media, in large part this scrutiny is a reasonable and even predictable result of JAMES’ aggressive use oft he sealing procedure over the years  to minimize the amount of meaningful information made available to the public. Whatever merits his strategy might have had years ago when BRITNEY was trying to restart her career, at this point in her life when she is trying to regain some measure of personal autonomy, BRITNEY welcomes and appreciates the informed support of her many fans. Although the sealing motion is supposedly for her “protection”, BRITNEY herself is vehemently opposed to this effort by her father to keep her legal struggle hidden away in the closet as a family secret.

The moment that JAMES obtained from this Court the power to handle BRITNEY’s affairs on her behalf, he surrendered a large measure of privacy as to the manner in which he exercises that power. Transparency is an essential component in order for this Court to earn and retain the public’s confidence with respect to protective proceedings like this one. In this case, it is not an exaggeration to say that the whole world is watching.

Her team (Jamie, Lou Taylor, Jamie Lynn, Larry and more) called us a bunch of crazy conspiracy theorist and fans since the movement started last year… What will they say now that Britney herself supports us? The evidence was always in plain sight, everything we said was backed up with REAL court documents. We never made up anything we said. And this is the result: After 12 years of an abusive conservatorship, Britney finally had the strength to fight her conservators.

And Britney… We are 100% here for you and we will always support you. You got this, girl. Keep fighting!

Conservatorship update: Britney proposes a new conservator!

As we already know, Britney doesn’t want Jaime in charge of her fortune anymore and is currently trying to remove him as her conservator. And now, in a new court filing, she is asking the court to appoint Bessemer Trust Company as the conservator of her estate. With this petition, she is trying to avoid Jaime’s attemp to bring back Andrew Wallett (yeah, the same person who resigned as her conservator last year). This is Britney’s first filing since the conservatorship started in 2008.

The new court docs also claim that this conservatorship is “voluntary” and that Britney “wishes to exercise her right to nominate a conservator of the estate under Probate Code section 1810.” The documents further state that Britney does not have a developmental disability, nor is she a patient in or on leave of absence from a state institution under the jurisdiction of the California Department of State Hospitals or the California Department of Developmental Services.

Also, Lynne Spears also filed a new court documen in which she supports Britney’s decision and also nominates Bessemer Trust Company as the new estate conservator.

Bear in mind that Britney can still request the termination of the conservatorship at any time but, first, she needs to completely remove Jamie as her conservator. If he refuses to let a professional firm (which btw oversees more than $140 billion according to google) manage Britney’s estate,  how is Britney ever going to request the termination of the conservatorship? It’s almost impossible. It’s clear that he doesn’t want to lose control. Baby steps, people.

Now it all depends on Judge Penny’s decision.

You can read the full documents here (britney’s petition) and here (Lynne’s). Thanks to @MeanerThree and @lawyersforbrit on twitter.

Today’s court hearing recap

As you may already know, today a new court hearing regarding Britney’s conservatorship was held and we have some interesting and big news to remark.

First of all, nothing has changed. Basically, no major changes were made. However, that doesn’t mean that everything is the same. In April, Jodi’s role as Britney’s conservator was extended until August 22 due to the Coronavirus pandemic but now, it was again extended until February 1, 2021. What does this mean? That the judge didn’t deny Britney’s request to permanently remove Jamie as her conservator (he was supposed to become her conservator again on August 23).

In fact, Britney’s lawyer was authorized to proceed with their case to remove Jamie as conservator. Samuel Ingham needs to file the new petition before September 18 and they have until October to prepare their case. That is why Jodi’s role as conservator was extended. Keep in mind that Britney has NOT petitioned to end the conservatorship yet so it’s not a surprise that the conservatorship was extended. If they didn’t do that, Jaime would have become her conservator again (and that’s what Britney is trying to prevent from happening).

It is frustrating that nothing happened today? Yes, of course. It’s always the same. But at least some progress has been made. Even when Britney asked him to step down, Jamie refused, he clearly doesn’t care about Britney’s whishes. So with him around, it would be impossible for Britney to petition the termination of the conservatorship. That’s why they need him out of the picture. Sadly, he’s still in charge of Britney’s estate.

Another important thing is that it look like Britney wants more transparency so future hearings will likely not be sealed. In previous hearings, the court room was cleared almost immediately, but today Samuel Ingham said that they didn’t want the hearing to be sealed. He also insisted that future hearings not be sealed.

And I almost forgot to mention that today’s hearing was a continuation of last month’s postponed hearing so there was a part that was in fact sealed and, of course, we don’t know what happened (the court docs say that “the court makes findings and orders under seal) but, strangely enough, Britney did not attend (even though she was supposed to do it)

Last but not least, the ACLU has offered to help Britney Spears remove her father Jamie Spears as her conservator and they tweeted this during toda’s hearing: “People with disabilities have a right to lead self-directed lives and retain their civil rights. If Britney Spears wants to regain her civil liberties and get out of her conservatorship, we are here to help her.”

Whatever happens next month, we will continue to fight and show our support for Britney.

Britney wants Jamie removed as her conservator!

BIG news ahead of tomorrow’s hearing! Britney does not longer wants Jamie involved in her conservatorship and asked court to remove him as conservator of her state. Also, she wants to prevent him from being conservator of her person again. She is asking for a qualified corporate fiduciary to be appointed as the new conservator of her state and and wants Jodi’s role as conservator to be made permanent. Remember that Jodi was named temporary conservator (of her person) after Jamie stepped down a few months ago.

According to the new legal docs, “BRITNEY is strongly opposed to JAMES continuing as sole conservator of her estate. Rather, without in any way waiving her right to seek termination of this conservatorship in the future, she strongly prefers to have a qualified corporate fiduciary appointed to serve in this role.”

The Blast also reports that Britney may be considering filing to terminate the conservatorship once and for all but that she still hasn’t filed that specific motion. Britney’s lawyer, Samuel Ingham, wrote: “Without in any way waiving her right to seek termination of this conservatorship in the future, BRITNEY would like Ms. MONTGOMERY’s appointment as conservator of her person to be made permanent.”

Of course, they are sure that Jamie will try to stop this from happening.

“For many reasons, I have concluded that any effort to achieve my client’s objectives as stated above will be aggressively contested by JAMES,” the filing states. He continues, “BRITNEY herself has expressed to me a desire that we associate an attorney or law firm with substantial expertise in handling contested litigation in a highly complex case such as this one through trial.”

Another important part of this new filing is that Britney’s conservatorship was diveded into 3 phases:

  1. “The first phase can be described broadly as “triage”: her conservators rescued her from a collapse, exploitation by predatory individuals and financial ruin,” Ingham says.
  2. “The second phase covered BRITNEY’ s performing years: with the aid of a personal manager, a business manager, and many other individuals, BRITNEY was able to regain her position as a world-class entertainer with multiple world tours, a television series and a residency in Las Vegas. The Las Vegas residency ended December 31, 2017, and her last live tour performance occurred on October 21, 2018.”
  3. “The third phase of the conservatorship reflects BRITNEY’S stated desire not to perform at this time.”

“We are now at a point where the conservatorship must be changed substantially in order to reflect the major changes in her current lifestyle and her stated wishes.” he continues.

“Based on the foregoing, I respectfully recommend that this court seek input from all parties and make appropriate orders to facilitate the implementation of my client’s wishes as stated above, which I also believe to be in her best interests.”

THIS IS HUGE! Don’t forget that it won’t be easy to end the conservatorship because tt has lasted more than 10 years and there are millions of dollars involved, so it will take time. Let’s hope this is a step in the right direction to end this abusive conservatorship. She first needs to get rid of the abusive people in her team (Hi Jamie, hi Lou!). Oh, and “phase 3” basically confirms the rumor that Britney is refusing to work as long as Jamie is still involved.

For now, a new hearing will be held tomorrow and don’t forget to help and promote the #FreeBritney hashtag.

Thanks to @lawyersforbrit for the court doc photos!

EDIT: Here’s a thread with a great break down of this new filing. Thanks to the Gram Girls!
