Circus Fantasy arrived on the market in August 2009. The fragrance was inspired by Spears’ album Circus, and tour The Circus Starring Britney Spears. This is the first fragrance that Elizabeth Arden created specifically for an artist’s album.

The perfume was created in cooperation with Elizabeth Arden and it introduces notes of fruit, intoxicating flowers and creamy musk. Top notes incorporate juicy raspberry zest and apricot blossom. The heart adds blue peony along with lotus and orchid, while base notes include vanilla, musk and violet candy. The fragrance is available in a blue flacon shaped like its antecedents, Fantasy and Midnight Fantasy. The bottle is the same as the previous Fantasy fragrances, except that the bottle is a light blue with red crystals.

A gift set includes Eau De Parfum Spray 50ml, Body Souffle 100ml and Lip Gloss 8ml.

The fragrance was shown in her music video for 3.

In Australia, a promotion deal was set up with Myer, whereby, for a limited time, customers who bought a 100 ml bottle would also receive a free CD featuring a remix of the song “Circus” and the song “Kill the Lights”, taken from the Circus album.
