A few moments ago, Britney and Sam Asghari announced they have sadly lost their baby due to a miscarriage. They released a joint statement on instagram to announce the heartbreaking news and asked for privacy in this difficult moment.
“It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that we have lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy. This is a devastating time for any parent. Perhaps we should have waited to announce until we were further along, however we were overly excited to share the good news. Our love for each other is our strength. We will continue trying to expand our beautiful family. We are grateful for all of your support. We kindly ask for privacy during this difficult moment.”
The Instagram post included the caption, “We are grateful for what we have in the process of expanding our beautiful family 💝 Thank you for your support.”
OMG. Britney just announced on instagram that she’s expecting her first child with Sam!! This will be the third child for Britney, who already has Sean Preston and Jayden James from her relationship with Kevin Federline. Britney and Sam met back in 2016 on the set of the “Slumber Party” music video and began dating a few months later; they finally got engaged last September.
Last year, during her heartbreaking testimony in court, Britney spoke of her desire to have a new baby but that Jamie Spears and her team would not allow her to remove the IUD she had in her body. Thankfully, things clearly changed and Britney finally had the freedom to decide what to do with her body and her life.
We are SO happy for her, we know that she wanted a baby for a long time and we wish her and Sam the best. And we truly hope she can enjoy it this time without being stalked and harassed like in her past two pregnancies. Her drams are coming true and she deserves all the happines in the world. So again, CONGRATS BRIT!!!
I lost so much weight to go on my Maui trip only to gain it back 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ … I thought “Geez … what happened to my stomach ???” My husband said “No you’re food pregnant silly 🤪 !!!” So I got a pregnancy test … and uhhhhh well … I am having a baby 👶🏼 … 4 days later I got a little more food pregnant 🤰🏼🙈🙈🙈 It’s growing !!! If 2 are in there … I might just loose it 😬😬😬😬😬😬 … I obviously won’t be going out as much due to the paps getting their money 💴 shot of me 📸 like they unfortunately already have … it’s hard because when I was pregnant I had perinatal depression … I have to say it is absolutely horrible 😔 … women didn’t talk about it back then … some people considered it dangerous if a woman complained like that with a baby inside her … but now women talk about it everyday … thank Jesus we don’t have to keep that pain a reserved proper secret 🤫 😬😬😬 … This time I will be doing yoga 🧘♀️ every day !!! Spreading lots of joy and love 💕 !!!
Update: Sam confirmed the news on instagram. He wrote: “Marriage and kids are a natural part of a strong relationship filled with love and respect. Fatherhood is something i have always looked forward to and i don’t take lightly. It is the most important job i will ever do
In a new article published a few hours ago, The New Yorker revealed new details about the 911 call Britney made the day before her June 23 testimony in court and, in our opinion, Britney seemed frustrated and hopeless. The article even stated that last year the police responded to a call requesting a wellness check on Britney.
You can read the full article here but here is the part about the 911 call:
In April, Spears asked to address the court directly. On June 22nd, the day before the hearing, she called a 911 dispatch center—part of a tenacious effort that day to tell law enforcement that she was a victim of abuse. After driving to a Ventura County police station to do so in person, she was told that no officer was immediately available. She placed a second call, then went home, where a sergeant and a deputy met her later that afternoon. Michael McConville, the sergeant, had met Spears before. A year earlier, he had accompanied adult-protective-services personnel when they responded to a call requesting a wellness check on Spears. After initially declining to speak, Spears had warmed up when he praised her parenting, telling her that he’d met her children during an unrelated call. When McConville arrived this June in response to Spears’s request, “she was just upset,” he said. “I don’t know what to do,” McConville recalled Spears telling him and her boyfriend Sam Asghari. “I’m stuck—I feel like I’m not able to do anything because of the conservatorship.” McConville asked Spears how old she was. Thirty-nine, she said. Why didn’t she take further control of her life? McConville recalls asking. “And she looked at me and she says, ‘How do I do that?’”
Since then, Spears appears to have answered her own question. The next day, she told the court that her conservators sought to “enslave” her, forcing her to work and refusing her even the most fundamental forms of autonomy; they had even denied her request to remove an IUD. The major-crimes bureau at the Ventura County sheriff’s office considered opening a human-trafficking investigation, but dropped the matter after Spears and her attorney declined to pursue the conversation. However, after Spears’s riveting court testimony, the conservatorship quickly began to unravel. In early July, The New Yorker published its reporting on the events surrounding the conservatorship’s creation. (The Times had previously released a documentary and has continued to report on the case.) In the days that followed, Spears’s longtime business manager, Larry Rudolph, resigned, followed by Samuel Ingham, the court-appointed lawyer who had been representing her, at least in name, since 2008. According to a person closely involved with Spears’s team, its remaining members decided to unite behind Spears. “Jamie’s the only one left on team Jamie,” that person said. Spears was focussed on getting a new lawyer, and the remaining team members—including an agent and an executive with the company that managed her social media—decided to help her retain new and more muscular legal representation. The agent had had prior dealings with Rosengart, a former federal prosecutor who has also represented Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Steven Spielberg, and Rosengart’s name was passed to Spears. In mid-July, Rosengart successfully petitioned the court to allow Spears to select her own counsel. After Spears retained him, Rosengart began pressing for the removal of Jamie from the conservatorship. In September, Jamie, rather than stepping down, filed a petition for the conservatorship to be terminated entirely.
After today’s hearing, three new photos from Glory’s original photoshoot by David LaChapelle were leaked. The photos are AMAZING and we still can’ believe Team Con scrapped this shoot and replace it with a screen caps of the Make Me video by Randee St Nicholas.
After 13 years under an abusive conservatorship, Britney Spears is finally free. Earlier today, judge Brenda Penny officially terminated the conservatorship of the person and the Estate and all parties consented the termination. As Britney requested, the conservatorship ended without a mental evaluation.
Additional hearings have been set for December 8 and January 19.
“The court finds and determines that the conservatorship of the person and the Estate of Britney Jean Spears is no longer required,” said Penny during the hearing.
Rosengart said that they (he and Jodi Montgomery’s attorney) had filed a termination plan under seal this past Monday. While details were not disclosed in the court room, Rosengart told the judge that he has put in place a “safety net” on both the personal and financial side of Britney’ affairs. This “safety net” will help Britney throughout this transition period to her full freedom. Let’s keep in mind that Britney was 100% controlled for 13 years, it will surely be overwhelming to be free from all those restraint so it’s a good sing that she aknowledges she will need help.
“We have engaged in an orderly transition of power,” Rosengart explained.
The conservatorship is fully terminated, but accountant John Zabel, who replaced Spears’ father Jamie following his suspension, will have “limited and administrative power” as part of the termination plan.
Zabel’s duties will include power of execution of the Estate trust and power to transfer assets outside of the trust into the trust. In addition to Zabel, the singer’s personal conservator, Montgomery, will also continue working with Spears, as Variety previously reported. Because the termination plan is under seal, the exact details of Montgomery’s working relationship were not revealed but her attorney said, “Ms. Montgomery will stay in her life; Ms. Montgomery will be there for her. Ms. Spears can live a safe, happy, fulfilling life after this conservatorship.”
Rosengart gave a press conference outside court, once the hearing was finished, and he confirmed the termination of the conservatorship and spoke about Lou Taylor, TriStar and even Jamie’s refusal to cooperate in the investigation he and his team are doing. Once again, he made it very clear: “If they have nothing to hide, why are they refusing to cooperate?” What are they hiding?
The good thing is that he said it loud and clear: He will keep investigating Lou Taylor’s involvement in the conservatorship and he will press charges against everyone if Britney requests it.
Shortly after the hearing was over, Britney and Sam posted on instagram about the news. Britney thanked her fans for the support. Here are their posts:
Britney, now it’s time to live your live in your own terms, you’re finally free. Enjoy this new chapter of your life and thank you, once again, for being such an inspiration for a lot of people. We love you!!!
Great news, army!! Jamie Spears has been suspended as Britney’s conservator of her estate and he’s officialy OUT! Vivian Lee Thoreen tried to appellate Judge Penny’s decision but the request was denied! Penny also denied her request of interviewing Britney. So yes, JAMIE IS OUT!!! And it looks like John Zabel, an accountant chosen by Britney, will be her new temporary conservator until next hearing.
And that’s not all… A new hearing for the termination of the conservatorship on November 12, 2021 (it can happen before that date too).
Mathew Rosengart, Britney’s lawyer, aggressively defended Britney during the hearing and remarked that Britney wanted him out today and that Jamie was only trying to terminate the conservatorship today because he wanted to delay everything and remain as her conservator during the process. To be completely honest, Rosengart basically destroyed Jamie’s arguments.
At the moment the hearing is still going on so we will update this when we have more info. Shortly after Penny’s decision, Sam took instagram to celebrate the news.
For now, let’s celebrate! Britney one step closer to freedom and we are sure she’s 100% happier today. You can read the full live coverage on @BritneyLawArmy on twitter!
Earlier today, FX announced that the sequel to Framing Britey Spears, Controlling Britney Spears, will premiere TONIGHT and it features interviews with key insiders and people with firsthand information about how the conservatorship controlled Brit’s life. Once again, the documentary will air on FX and Hulu.
Here’s the trailer and other previews. It looks like it’s gonna be explosive!
When Britney Spears told the court her conservatorship was abusive, she worried the public wouldn’t believe her. People sought us out — at great risk to themselves — because they felt compelled to back her up with evidence. The “Framing Britney Spears” follow-up airs tonight. pic.twitter.com/gX8lEEskkY
We put this follow-up to “Framing Britney Spears” together in a matter of weeks. As people who could expose the inner workings of the conservatorship came forward, we felt it necessary to get the reporting to the public as quickly as possible. @nytimeshttps://t.co/TTyUPdpgr9
Watch on Friday, Sept. 24, at 10 p.m. on FX or stream it on Hulu.
Britney Spears expressed strong objections in June to the court-sanctioned conservatorship, which was largely led by her father, that controlled her life. But how the conservatorship worked had never been fully understood.
Now, after her impassioned speech to a Los Angeles court over the summer, key insiders have come forward to talk publicly for the first time about what they saw. They provide the most detailed account yet of Spears’s life under the unusual legal arrangement that, for the past 13 years, stripped away many of her rights.
A new documentary by The New York Times, “Controlling Britney Spears,” reveals a portrait of an intense surveillance apparatus that monitored every move the pop star made. This new film, by the makers of the Emmy-nominated “Framing Britney Spears,” features exclusive interviews with members of Spears’s inner circle who had intimate knowledge of her life under the conservatorship.
“It really reminded me of somebody that was in prison,” said a former employee of the security firm hired by Spears’s father to protect her. “And security was put in a position to be the prison guards essentially.”
After sooo many rumors, it’s finally here! Netflix has just confirmed “Britney vs Spears”, a new documentary about Britney’s conservatorship and the full trailer will premiere tomorrow. In the meantime, here’s the teaser trailer…
