Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea’s ‘Pretty Girls’ Wins Song of Summer Contest

They are just so pretty!! Congrats to Britney and Iggy (And all the fans) for winning the Song of Summer contest by Ryan Seacrest.

RyanSeacrest.com compiled a list of the 20 hottest singles and asked fans to vote for which track they deem the 2015 Song of Summer. After a month-long contest featuring weekly elimination rounds, fans and music enthusiasts alike have crowned Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea‘s “Pretty Girls” as the ultimate summer jam … just narrowly beating Fifth Harmony‘s “Worth It” by 3 percent. The female empowerment track, which came into fruition after Brit professed her love for Iggy’s work to her manager, received a music video that was inspired by the 1988 flick Earth Girls Are Easy.

“I love her work and I had an idea to do like a really girl power, fun Valley girl video,” Britney told On Air with Ryan Seacrest last month. “So you know, we got a great song that totally made sense to do that and we just worked it out.” Thanks to all the fans who participated in our Song of Summer contest!
