Britney Spears interview on Australian news & entertainment program “The Project”. Original air date May 25, 2015.

Britney Spears: I Would ‘Love’ to Get Married Again

Britney Spears opens up about raising sons, date nights with her new man, and whether she’ll marry again. Subscribe now for an inside look at the popstar’s life now, plus exclusive at-home photos, only in PEOPLE.

So what if Britney Spears hasn’t had the best luck in love? The twice-divorced superstar is not ruling out marriage in the future.

“I would love to. I believe in the fairytale,” Spears, 33, tells PEOPLE in this week’s exclusive cover story.

While she and her boyfriend of six months, producer Charlie Ebersol, 32, are taking things slowly, the singer has a general sense of what it takes for a couple to go the distance.

“I’m not really the person to ask what it take to get married, but personally for me, it’s about loving each other and communicating right and being respectful and honest,” she says. “It takes two people just loving each other a lot.

Spears acknowledges she’s no expert in matters of the heart. “Love is a hard one,” she says. “I don’t really understand love as far as relationships. With my kids, it’s just unconditional and that’s hard to find.”

Which begs the question: would Spears also consider having more children?

“I would like to have one more,” says Spears, who is raising two sons – Sean Preston, 9, and Jayden James, 8 – her kids with ex-husband Kevin Federline. “I am very satisfied with my two boys but maybe in the future.”

Spears admits having a daughter would be a blast.

“I would love a mini-me. That would be fun!”

A hit Las Vegas show. Two happy, rambunctious boys. A hot new boyfriend who adores her. In short: life for Britney Spears has never been better.

“I’m the happiest I’ve ever been,” Spears, 33, tells PEOPLE in this week’s exclusive at-home cover story.

While her long-running Planet Hollywood residency is a big hit — the show has grossed nearly $50 million in ticket sales in a little more than a year — the superstar’s true passion is being a mother to Sean Preston, 9, and Jayden James, 8. “My kids come first in my life, bottom line,” says Spears, who shares parenting duties with her ex-husband, Kevin Federline.

As a hands-on mom, Spears has a lengthy to-do list: play dates, soccer games, gymnastics lessons and up to three hours of homework a night. “Homework is a priority,” she says. “We have a reward system that helps motivate them: if they get so many As, they get one toy a month.”

As the boys grow into “little men,” Spears is relishing their evolving personalities.

“Preston is very opinionated, very expressive, and if he doesn’t like something, he’s going to tell you,” she says. “But he has a huge heart, he’s a good kid and he has manners … Jayden is sweet, very soft-spoken, kinda funny. He’s adorable — a momma’s boy.”

Recently, the kids have taken on chores, including washing off their plates, taking out the trash and helping the family’s three dogs, and Spears is mulling giving them an allowance. “Preston just asked for a high allowance – like $10 a week or $20 a week – but we’ll see!” she says.

Spears’ boyfriend, producer Charlie Ebersol, 32, also pitches in with the kids – and the boys adore him. “They relate to him really well and they have fun together,” says Spears, who started dating Ebersol about six months ago. “He’s refreshing to be around and really light-hearted.”

With her career on a roll – her new single, a collaboration with Iggy Azaelea, drops on May 5 – and her family thriving, Spears says she’s in a “real good place” in her life. She says, “I’m very blessed.”

Billboard full interview: Britney on Why Her Vegas Residency ‘Clicked,’ Being Inspired by Celine Dion and a New Album Not Being a ‘Full Priority’

Britney Spears was barely 21 when the idea of a Las Vegas residency first crossed her mind. It was 2003, shortly after wrapping Dream Within a Dream, her first full-blown U.S. arena run, when she and a friend stayed at Celine Dion’s palatial estate off the Strip to see how the French-Canadian star lived away from the touring circuit.

“I remember how beautiful it was — really cool, low-key — and her dressing room was great,” Spears, now a 33-year-old mother of two, tells Billboard from her family’s residential suite in Vegas, not far from her own dressing room at Planet Hollywood. “I was actually jealous, like, ‘Oh, my gosh, she gets to be in one place all the time.’ Everything clicked: To have your children and your family and that way of life, it just makes sense to have everything in one place.”

Dion’s Caesars Palace residency was a pioneering one. It was the first time an in-her-prime superstar (Dion, like Spears, was 33 when she first embarked) had set up shop in the desert at the peak of her touring powers, debunking the notion that Vegas was a pop-star retirement community. Her 4,100-capacity shows at The Colosseum pulled in $493.7 million in Billboard Boxscore receipts in the first 10 years, and helped lure Elton John, Cher, Bette Midler and Shania Twain to the same venue for a rotation of residencies totaling more than $1 billion in revenue, according to AEG Live.

Las Vegas was transformed by the time Spears launched Piece of Me on New Year’s Eve 2013 at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas. (Caesars Entertainment Corp. owns Planet Hollywood.) In 2003, Vegas’ economy was just beginning to wean itself off gaming revenue, which accounted for 43 percent of total revenue on the Las Vegas Strip in that fiscal year ($4.5 billion from July 2002 to June 2003); hotels and entertainment made up the remaining 57 percent ($5.9 billion), according to the Nevada Gaming Control Board. Today, entertainment has hit an all-time high ($2.3 billion in fiscal year 2014), with non-gaming revenue accounting for 63 percent of the Strip’s earnings.

The electronic-dance boom of the late 2000s hastened the shift. A-list DJs attracted a younger, livelier demo than the middle-aged couples who might see a Dion or Cher show, hit the tables for an hour and call it a night. Spears, who has amassed 17 top 20 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 (including four No. 1s), was already on her fourth album when many of Vegas’ fun-seekers were in middle school.

Billboard Cover Sneak Peek: 5 Things We Learned About Britney Spears’ Life in Las Vegas

Billboard Cover Sneak Peek: 5 Things We Learned About Britney Spears’ Life in Las Vegas

As we told you before, Britney is on the cover of Billboard magazine and here’s a sneak peek of the interview where she talks about her life in Las Vegas, her boyfriend, her children and much more.

Read the full Britney Spears cover story when it’s out Friday, March 13.

What’s Britney Spears been up to in Vegas? The latest issue of Billboard, out Friday, March 13, has an exclusive glimpse into the pop diva’s new lifestyle since kicking off her first residency at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas in late December 2013. “To have your children and your family and that way of life, it just makes sense to have everything in one place,” she tells Billboard for the first Sin City-themed issue (and, notably, Britney’s Billboard cover debut.)

It’s been 15 months since Spears, 33, first embarked on her Vegas takeover with Piece Of Me, and she seems to be loving her new surroundings (and new boyfriend.) Here are five things the singer told us about her home away from home.

1. Her new boyfriend, Charlie Ebersol, is a frequent visitor.
“Oh, he loves it. He comes every weekend, even though he’s flying all over the place,” says Spears. “It’s always really nice when he comes. The kids love to see him. It’s great.” What do she and Ebersol, 32, have most in common? “I feel like our passion for life is pretty much on the same page.”

2. So are her sons, Jayden James and Sean Preston.
Spears keeps a residential suite three nights a week during show weeks just a few blocks away from Planet Hollywood, where her kids visit every other weekend. “It’s really big, kind of like a big condo. It’s four bedrooms. We have a yard, it’s really nice,” she says.

3. Where does Britney go offstage? Think sushi and Sonic — not the slots.
Not one to hit the tables (“I’m not a gambler at all, that’s not something that I’m into at all”), Spears instead gets amped when talking about her favorite places to eat. “Oh my God, I love Sushi Samba, I love Koi. Those are my two favorite sushi places. I could literally go there every day of my life.” And then there’s her guilty pleasure, Sonic, which has a Strip-adjacent location right off Flamingo Boulevard. “They have Southern sweet tea and everything from Louisiana, so that’s really nice.” Spears pauses to consider her dining habits. “Actually, I need to start eating at more places this year. I stick to my two restaurants and I need to branch out a little bit.”

4. A slumber party at Celine Dion’s house inspired her to come to Vegas.
Shortly after wrapping her Dream Within A Dream Tour in 2003, Spears flew out to Vegas to check out Celine Dion’s A New Day… residency. “I remember coming here, and I stayed with a friend at her house, and I remember how beautiful it was,” Spears recalls. “Just the set-up and everything was just really cool, low-key, and her dressing room was great. I was actually jealous, like, “Oh my gosh, she gets to be in one place all the time.’ And I just thought, ever since then, that everything really clicked.”

5. “Toxic” is her favorite song to sing during Piece of Me.
“I get rained on and it wakes me up,” Spears says with a giggle, noting that 90-minute sets three nights a week can be grueling. “And I’m able to really give more because I’ve just had this shower onstage. It’s actually really fun, I jump off of a tree and it’s kind of exciting.”

Britney Spears on the cover of Billboard Magazine & Interview

Britney Spears on the cover of Billboard Magazine & Interview

Britney is on the cover of the March 21st issue of Billboard Magazine (USA) and in an exclusive interview, Brit talked about a new album, her children and much more.

You can read part of the interview below & don’t forget to buy your copy, on stands Friday, March 13.

Britney Spears has performed nearly 100 shows at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas since the release of her eighth studio album, 2013’s Britney Jean. And though the singer has been back in the studio as far back as September, don’t expect a proper follow-up anytime soon.

“I’m gonna do [a new album] slowly but surely,” Spears tells Billboard for the latest cover story, on stands Friday, March 13. “There’s a lot going on with my kids and schools and, you know, adding new sports and stuff like that. I’m gonna try to do my best to do an amazing album, but it’s not my full priority right now.” The mother of sons Sean Preston, 9, and Jayden James, 8, then added with a laugh, “Kids can drive you crazy.”

Britney Jean debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 in December 2013, with first-week sales of 107,000 copies (her lowest debut for a studio set.) The album included the Hot 100-charting singles “Work Bitch” (No. 12) and “Perfume” (No. 76), both of which Spears performs in her Vegas show Piece Of Me. Through Feb. 21, Spears’ performances have grossed more than $42 million in ticket sales, according to Planet Hollywood parent company Caesars Entertainment, and the singer is officially committed to the residency through the end of 2015.

However, Spears and Planet Hollywood are currently in negotiations about extending the show another two years through 2017, so a new full-length album may still prove harder to squeeze in. “Right now we’re just concentrating on putting out a few great singles as they come,” says Spears’ manager Larry Rudolph. “We’re not really talking seriously about a new album yet. Albums just aren’t as important in the digital age as they used to be. Britney will get to one eventually, but not right now.”

New interview with ExtraTV.Com

Only “Extra’s” special correspondent Pauly D was with Britney Spears at the Campus in Las Vegas. Britney, who was there to support her partnership with the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation, also talked about boyfriend Charlie Ebersol and her new music with Iggy Azalea.

Brit recently confessed her love to Charlie, sporting the words “I love Charlie” on her vest during her hit Las Vegas show, “Piece of Me.” She revealed to Pauly D what Charlie’s reaction was. “He said, ‘You’re the sweetest girlfriend in the whole world,’ he was really happy I did that.”

Charlie stopped by Universal Studios where he told “Extra” he was lucky to be with her. Hearing that, Britney said, “I’m very blessed to have him as a part of my life, that’s very cool.”

Could wedding bells be in the couple’s future? When Pauly asked if there was a chance the couple might head down the aisle at a Las Vegas chapel, she laughed, teasing, “You never know.”

Spears also dished on working with Iggy Azalea. “I saw her song on TV and I was like a kid in a candy store, I was like, I love Iggy, I love that video, I want to work with her, and it was really weird, because a week after that her manager was like, ‘She’s a huge fan of yours.’ I was like, ‘Let’s do something together,’ so it worked out.”

Britney did not reveal much about what she and Iggy are putting together, but she did say she won’t be dancing with a snake again anytime soon like she did in her 2001 “I’m a Slave 4 U” performance at the MTV Video Music Awards. “I would never do that… I have no idea what I was thinking.”

As for her work with the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation, Brit explained, “NCFF is an organization that goes to the largest extent to help families and children in time of their medical illness, and it’s powerful, and I’m really proud to be a part of this organization.”

Britney Spears on the cover of ‘Women’s Health UK’

Britney Spears shows off her fabulous figure on the cover of Women’s Health UK magazine’s latest issue, on newsstands tomorrow! Here’s a sneak peak of the interview.

It’s Britney, b****!

Let’s be honest, most of us have been watching Britney Spears grow – and shrink, and grow – from the time she gave the world a glimpse of her teenage tummy in the ‘…Baby One More Time’ video 16 years ago. Since then, she has had babies of her own (Preston, nine, and Jayden, eight; their father is ex-husband Kevin Federline), and her body has gone back and forth between MTV-ready and mum tum.

But before Britney’s arrival at the set of her WH photo shoot, her long-time manager, Larry Rudolph, mentioned that she was in probably the best shape of her life, and here it is: living proof.

The 33-year-old’s abs are enviably cut; her arms, sculpted; her legs, lean and defined. And while the petite powerhouse (she’s 5ft 4in) is not the biggest fan of her behind – “I wish it were smaller,” she tells us – most women probably wouldn’t mind swapping derrières.

It seems Brit’s been listening to some of her own lyrics: “You wanna hot body/Look hot in a bikini/ You better work, bitch!” (From, yup, ‘Work B****’, one for any treadmill playlist.) Even during a five-week break from her Piece of Me show – her several nights- a-week residency at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas that will last at least until September 2015 – she’s kept up her turbo charged fitness regimen. (And all this while simultaneously launching a new sleepwear line and promoting her 17 fragrances; her latest, Fantasy Stage Edition, marks 10 years in the beauty business.) “After I had Jayden, it was real easy for me to get back in shape,” she says. “But five years later, I started noticing changes in my body. My hips are a little bit wider because I’ve had kids. So it was crucial for me to be continuous with my exercise. Consistency is key.”

Find out more about our amazing cover star, including Britney’s two-week workout journal PLUS the killer workout plan she swears by in our new issue – out January 29th! You can also download the digital edition here.
