Britney talks about the SuperBowl with BBC Radio 1

BBC’s Radio 1 host Scott Mills interviewed Britney to promote her new album, Glory and he asked her about marriage, Justin Bieber and the Suber Bowl. We don’t think she will confirm anything about a Super Bowl performance during a radio interview but we can’t wait to see what he asked and her answer.

Get ready to see a new side of Britney Spears when she drops Gloryon Aug. 26. Instead of the usual weapons-grade club-bangers she’s known for, Spears is opting for slinky, mid-tempo numbers like “Make Me…” and “Private Show” that those in the know say truly reflect her artistic tastes. Here’s how the album came together—and for more on Spears’ Glory, pick up the new issue of Entertainment Weekly, on newsstands Aug. 12 or buy it here.

“Make Me…” set the tone of the album

Spears has been recording new music as far back as 2014, but Glory didn’t really take shape until last fall, when she teamed up with British producer Burns for “Make Me…,” the lead single from the album. “This song was the first record that she cut for the album,” Burns says. “This is what shaped the sound of the rest of the record as far as I know. [Her team was] looking for something completely different from what she normally does.”

The title was inspired by Spears’ confidence in the material

The release of Glory ends the second-longest gap between albums in Spears’ career. Following 2013’s underwhelming Britney Jean, Spears took her time to make sure her next project felt right. “She feels like it’s her in all her glory,” says Tom Corson, president and COO of Spears’ label, RCA Records. “It’s a body of work she can stand behind. It’s a bold title, and it reflects her feelings about the record.”

“Glory” is probably most of a hip-hop album

Britney spoke with Ryan Seacrest this morning about her new upcoming album “Glory” and she said that the album will be most of a hip hop album. Sounds amazing, right?

“It took a lot of time, but I think we brought it to a level where I was really, really happy with what I had,” she told On Air with Ryan Seacrest over the phone on Friday. “It’s cool, it’s really different. I think this is probably the most hip-hop album. Not most, there are like two or three songs that go in the direction of more urban that I’ve wanted to do for a long time now, and I just haven’t really done that.”

“I worked with Karen who was my A&R on this project. She got me together with a lot of people, Julia Michaels, a lot of new upcoming artists. It was her idea, she is very gifted and knowing what sounds good. I took my time with this project and it’s kind of like my baby. I took it very seriously. I worked with only probably four or five different people through the whole process.”

“We’re just going to be so creative and pull some tricks out of our sleeves here,” she teased. “Honestly, I haven’t even began a creative process on this, but I do know this is one of the things where I do what I do — to think of cool things to do with other people and stuff like that. It’s going to be awesome.” she said about her upcoming performance on the iHeart Radio Music Festival.

This is the story about a girl named…Britney. In 2004, she launched her first fragrance, Curious. The next year came her follow-up, Fantasy, for which there have been more than a dozen remixes from the artist, including an after-hours adaptation (Midnight Fantasy), as well as Naughty and Nice interpretations and yes, even Anniversary and Intimate Editions (as if the aforementioned Midnight version wasn’t sensual enough). From 2010 to 2011 the star went through a reflective phase, so to speak, releasing Radiance and Cosmic Radiance back-to-back. And let us never forget Believe, promoted with the powerful tagline: “The greatest freedom is to believe in yourself.”

All in all, Spears has created 19 scents ranging from sweet to grown and sexy. (The complete list more delightfully dizzying than spraying all of them at once, we’re certain.) And like her music catalogue, her fragrance library is full of hits — the debut alone has reportedly sold over 500 million bottles in a decade on shelves. And now:

It’s Britney’s 20th fragrance, b—-!

Private Show, inspired by Spears’ adoration of dance and stage, is “really unique and special,” she tells PeopleStyle. Given the scent’s influence, it was only fitting she announced the release in the midst of her Las Vegas residency in June (see her sexy reveal, below).

To celebrate the epic achievement, Spears filled in our burning questions about beauty, all those bathing suit selfies and her beloved boys, Sean Preston, 10, and Jayden James, 9.

My favorite note in this new scent is…“The coffee note because iced coffee is my go-to drink before a long day of rehearsals.”

My biggest beauty splurge is…“A Facial. I love a great Oxygen facial.”

My favorite discovery in a Las Vegas casino is…“A dark chocolate & sea salt candy bar.”

My guilty pleasure food, even when I’m prepping for my Piece of Me performances, is…“Crawfish because it reminds me of home.”

Of all the looks I’ve worn over the years, the one I’ll keep forever is…“‘…Baby One More Time’ because it’s what really started it all.”

I love to show my swimsuits off because…“I’m a lover of water.”

My most treasured item is…“My boys! Self-explanatory.”

My favorite food to cook with my sons is…“Probably tacos. They are just simple, fun and they love them.”

The best compliment that my sons have ever given me is…“That they love me.”

The best thing about being 34 is…“Everything.”

G-Eazy talks about Britney in a new interview

In a new interview with the New York Post, G-Eazy talks about working with Britney on her new single, Make Me. And Britney, via e-mail, tell us how she met him. Read out below the interview.

Oakland, Calif., rapper G-Eazy is used to people writing him adoring fan letters, but when Britney Spears heard this year’s breakout hit “Me, Myself & I” (recorded with New York singer Bebe Rexha), she wrote him an e-mail asking him to collaborate.

“I was on tour in Australia when I heard she wanted me to do something for her,” he tells The Post of the song “Make Me,” which was released last week. “There’s no way you can pass on Britney — I remember having a crush on her when I was 8! So we found a recording studio the same night to make sure it was done.”

“I was blown away when I first heard ‘Me, Myself & I,’ ” Spears tells The Post via e-mail. “As soon as I heard it, I thought it would be great to work with G-Eazy … I think he’s so cool.”

G-Eazy’s legions of female fans have long thought the same. The 27-year-old (real name Gerald Gillum) plays at Barclays Center on Tuesday, marking a long road to success that began with his self-recorded and released mixtapes — his first was in 2008. He later scored a minor hit with “Runaround Sue,” a track based on Bronx legend Dion’s doo-wop classic of the same name.

G-Eazy’s army of admirers are drawn to him partly because of his James Dean looks, but also because of lyrics that tread the line between arrogance and anxiety. “The fans often write me long letters, and I read every single one,” he says earnestly. “I even met one girl who had a tattoo of my face on the side of her stomach!”

But it seems that even the most ardent of fans, or even a big pop megastar like Brit Brit, can’t compete with the main woman in G-Eazy’s life: his mother, Suzanne. Working two jobs, she raised G-Eazy and his two brothers alone, after separating from their father when G-Eazy was just 5.

So in April, while “Me Myself & I” was riding high, he made a point of paying Suzanne back for her sacrifices. “I was on tour, but I had a half-day off so I went home,” he says. “We went past the car dealership in Berkeley I used to walk past every day on the way to high school, and I bought her a brand-new Jeep. This is the first time we’ve been comfortable, and it feels good to finally thank her for all she did for me.”

Britney Spears Talks Brad Pitt, Being Single and “Private show” perfume and song

As we told you before, Britney gave an interview to E! News on the set of “Make Me (Oooh)” music video and here are two new videos. She talks about her new perfume, Private Show, and confirms that the song with the same title (Registered a few weeks ago) will be part of her new album.

PS: We know that Mr. Pitt is off the market, but no matter because Britney isn’t on the hunt for love these days. “I’m not looking for a man at the moment,” she told me. “My boys are my heart.”

As for Private Show, it’s the latest in the “Toxic” singer’s collection of fragrances that first launched in 2004 with Curious.

“The new fragrance is really beautiful,” Britney explained, adding she was inspired by her frequent trips to Hawaii and “soft, really soothing smells.”

She smiled, “My mom really loves it and a lot of my girlfriends do, too.”

E! News interview: “Britney Spears Just Called One of Her Most Iconic Moments ”So Dumb””

Here’s another part of the interview with E! News on the set of Make Me (Oooh) video shoot.

It’s hard to believe, but it’s been almost 15 years since Britney Spears danced with that albino python at the MTV Video Music Awards.

“It’s insane! Why did I do that?” Spears said during our exclusive interview yesterday on the set of the music video for her upcoming single “Make Me.”

Nope, she has no plans to ever repeat that iconic performance of “I’m A Slave 4 U.”

“Hell, no!” Spears said. “It’s so dumb. No! Never!”

And while we were taking a trip down memory lane, I mentioned how next year will mark the 20th anniversary of her signing with Jive Records. “I know!” Spears squealed. “I’m so old!”

So not old, Britney—you’re only 34!

What advice would she give her younger self? “Be fearless,” Spears said.

“Make Me” is the first single from her upcoming new album. The song is expected to drop next month followed by the full album in the fall. The video is directed by David LaChapelle and features Spears’ collaborator on the song, rapper G-Eazy.

In a photo that Spears posted of her and G-Eazy on her Instagram, she’s wearing a barely there ensemble reminiscent of the outfit she wore while dancing with the python. In another pic with shirtless model Austin Kellogg, she’s wearing black leather S&M gear around her neck and across her chest. A third photo shows Brit surrounded by her hunky dancers.

“It’s very exciting,” Spears told me about her upcoming ninth studio album. “I’ve been working on this project for a year and a half now, almost two years so it really means a lot to me. It’s my baby.”

She described the sound as “a little melodic, a little more not so poppy. It’s kind of chill. Very chill.”

Watch E! News tonight at 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. to find out what Brit told us about her kids—and then on Monday night, we’re talking about her very hot body!

Britney Spears interview on the set of ‘Make Me (Oooh)’ video shoot for E!

#B9 is coming and here’s a new interview from the set of “Make Me (Oooh)” video shoot.

Britney Spears is ready to give birth—to her new album.

“It’s very exciting,” the pop music megastar told me earlier today. “I’ve been working on this project for a year and a half now, almost two years so it really means a lot to me. It’s my baby.”

What should we expect? “It’s a little melodic, a little more not so poppy,” Brit said of what will be her ninth studio album. “It’s kind of chill. Very chill.”

I caught up with Spears exclusively on the set of her music video for the album’s first single, “Make Me (Oooh),” a collaboration with rapper G-Eazy.

Directed by David LaChapelle, expect to see lots of skin. In a pic that Spears posted on Instagram of her and G-Eazy, she showed off her killer body in a barely there ensemble.

When we chatted, Spears, 34, was wearing a nude bodysuit with a black lace overlay and thigh-high boots. “This is just what I’m wearing to go eat lunch,” she joked.
